I want to sell photo cookies, mostly for businesses to use for their advertising, promotions, or whatever, but also for party favors and such. I have the printer, inks and papers all ready to go. I have not gotten my licensing yet because there are so many hoops to jump through and it is a royal pain in the patootie. I have a kitchen space to rent from a cake shop I teach Wilton classes at, but I found out I can't piggyback on the legal crap. I have to go through the steps as if it were my own shop, I just don't have to lease the building.
Is there anyone in AZ that is selling cookies without a shop, just by word of mouth? I sold cakes on the side for 10 years from home and wasn't "legal", but now I want to do cookies and they are a lot less parishable than cakes, so what risks do you take??
I would like to make sure I can build up a business and get regular clients and that people really like the idea before I go and spend all that money on licenses.
I wished I can help you, but I would like to know your out come. I have been thinking about it also. I know there are alot of requirements you have to do here in Arizona. I think it is a great idea. I am located out in Chandler and I love doing cookies. Please keep me posted.
Thanks
Theresa B.
