Toba Icing... Does It Dry Hard? Need Advice

I'm attemping to make my first cookies... Does Toba's icing dry hard? Also, how far in advance can you make the NFSCs?

Thanks for any advice!!!!

the cookies can be made ahead, cooled and frozen. The glaze dries hard enough to stack the cookies, but not quite as hard as royal icing. And, the glaze takes longer to dry, generally overnight.
