I was told that you can make the glitter you can eat. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you

I believe there are several recipes for making edible glitter, and I've posted one below, but to be very honest, I think it's as cheap (and you'll get more colors and nicer results) just buying edible glitter from Wilton or CK products. I have the large CK jar in white, and I grind it through a tea strainer with a spatula handle when I want a fine shimmer. The big jar is the cheapest and it lasts forever!

*Edible Glitter

You use the white of one egg and "paint" it one a sheet of aluminum foil with a clean paint brush or pastry brush. After it has thoroughly dried, you crunch up the foil, breaking the egg white up into small glittery pieces. You should do it over a pan or container of some sort as to not lose any. Sprinkle it on top the cake.
