How do I adhere ribbon to side of cake drum? I feel like an idiot...do I just glue it? Anything special? Never did it before...any help really appreciated!

I use a hot glue gun; it's fast and sticks very well.

I use double sided craft/basting tape. Whenever I use hot glue, it's bumpy underneath.

I use glue dots from the scrapbook section, just a few here and there.

I use a double sided tape I get from my stampin up consultant. it's very only 1/4 inch wide and goes on very smooth. I put it one the board and then rip off the backing, follow that with the ribbon. Love it!! Hate glue guns (messy, lumpy)!
