I'm making a birthday cake for my dad - today! I'm making a large basket holding a wine bottle for his 60th. The basket cake I want chocolate with some sort of oreo filling, but I'm not sure the best way to encorporate the oreos - his favorite cookie. I'm concerned of using just crumbled cookies in buttercream because of it being too dry.

I would really appreciate any of your wonderful ideas - as soon as possible.

Thanks!

In the oreo cake recipe I have from Cali4dawn says (the one's that are made by the chain stores) you incorporate 5-6 Teaspoons to 2 cups of buttercream frosting. Use what looks best for you but it should not look grey or like mud-hope this helps!
