My oven has 4 places to place the baking rack. Which one do you use for cookies? It usually says place rack in middle of oven but I'm not sure which is the middle. Is it the second place from the top? Thanks.

The second from the top is the one I use with good results. You may just have to experiment and see which one will give you equal baking ( you don't want real brown bottoms and undone tops). HTH

I use the bottom two , but switch halfway through. I also use insulated cookie sheets.

Sometimes I also use convection and use all positions except the very top(I still don't trusy having cookies so close to the heating element)
