hi everyone!!
I have a chocolate mud cake in the freezer(uniced, undecorated), and it always works out great..my question is that I have to decorate it for a saturday night party. and it needs to be done on the thursday-friday. Do i defrost it in the fridge still wrapped up, or on the counter still wrapped..or will that cause it to go soggy? how long should I defrost it before I can start to decorate it?
any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks guys,
melody

I take mine out of the freezer on a Friday morning, put them on my snack bar and when I get home from work, I take the saran wrap off and decorate .. nothing soggy, just as fresh as if they had just been baked icon_smile.gif

I keep it on the counter. I just did that yesterday, and it was really HOT outside. And humid. The cake is perfect.

Just take it out of the freezer, throw it on the counter, and forget about it.
