hi,
i have a castle cake coming up (my first one), here is a link to it..its a pinata....customer wants it as a cake to match.

http://www.pinatas.com/Princess_Castle_Pinata_p/pc410.htm

my questions are...

to feed 100 people, what size of square cake pan should I use, and how tall? the pinata looks like it's just 1 tier, so the castle will just be stacked going up.

also, would i put a cake board somewhere in the middle of the cake (besides the bottom cake board), that way it would be easier to cut and be enough for everyone?

I'm kinda of stumped on the turrets, how to make them.

thanks.

Maybe RKT for the turrents.

You could use 2 10" cakes. That gives 100 servings according to WIlton.

There are several ways that you can make the turrets... Here is a link:

You can also make them with rice crispy treats and cover with fondant. Or go get one of the Wilton Kits, use their's and get them back to use again...
