Has anyone made the Golden Butter cake from Whim. BH? I made it once for a client, who loved it, and once for my dad's bday cake. It seemd a bit dry and crumbly to me, but it was very tasty. I was wondering if there's anything I can add to it to make it more moist? Or if anyone has another butter cake recipe that might be better? Thanks!
I've yet to make it. Is your oven too hot perhaps? You could turn your oven down 25 degrees and try not baking it as long. Using a simple syrup will help as well.
