I just wanted to know if any of you have tried using a duncan hines cake mix with a betty crocker cake mix? Is this a bad idea? I have a cake I need to bake today and I only have one of each. One is dark choc and the other is devil's food. Is this a bad idea to mix the two? Thanks for the help.

I don't think it would hurt to use them together, I use both kinds of mixes and use the same enhancer ingredients with either brand. Janice

I've mixed the 2 before and it came out fine... I've even made chocolate out of white by adding cocoa and that works too good luck!
