HELP!!!
Can I make & decorate a cake on a THursday and will it still be ok for Sunday?? I need to make 1/2 chocolate & 1/2 white....any good receipes out there that will last longer than Duncan Heinz??

I've made cakes on Thursday, crumb coated them, did the final coat of icing and decorated on Friday and had people pick them up on Saturday to use for Sunday parties with no problem ... the main thing is to tell them to keep the cake cool (not necessarily refrigerated) and not in heat above 80+ or so degrees.
It also would depend on your icing used too... if cream cheese icing is used, you might need to refrigerate. Hope this helps!
I am using buttercream icing with a buttercream transfer on the top (i hope it works out....I haven't tried the transfer yet!)
