Does anyone price their cakes like this.....$20 per box of cake mix used.....I mean just for basic buttercream desigsn, obviously not for fondant or gumpaste stuff, but for a buttercream iced and decorated cake???

That's exactly what I charge.......but it's going up $5.00!!!!!!!!

Wow! I know the cost of living here is reasonable, but wow! There would be fierce competition here if you could get $25 for a small box cake. I'm soooo very jealous!

Hi. I usually never have a cake order that takes only one cake mix! However...for my 9x13 sheet cake...I use about 2 mixes and charge $25.00 for that size. Some character pans do take 1 mix...and they start at $25.00...but there is a lot of detailed work!
