I finally got the nerve to do a wedding cake for my cousin. I have my design down and will be doing a 4 tier cake stacking the lower tiers and seperating the thrid and fourth. My question is should I use 2" deep pans or 3". Thanks for the help as I'm a little nervous and praying it turns out alright!

I prefer 2" pans,,, others on here prefer 3" pans... it's all a matter of preference really... With the 3" pans, and if you decide to use them, I will suggest to you that you use the flower nail as a heat core in the center of your pans and use a lower oven temperature as they do take longer to bake.
