I'm about to do a shoe cake at the end of the month and instead of doing the shoe in fondant, I purchased a chocolate mold of a high heeled shoe from sugarcraft.com. The shoe box will be covered in fondant, with the lid half way open with the choc shoe sticking out with white fondant all around as tissue paper.
Just another idea for you!

I have made a shoe cake, I used chocolate molds to make the shoes and I laid them around the cake, others made theirs out of gumpaste or fondant. Just type "shoes " in the gallery search engine and you should come up with a few ideas. I am sure the member would not mind sharing their ideas if you sent them a PM or email.
