I sent my husband out to get groceries not thinking I just wrote flour and he got self-rising instead of all purpose. Can I use this instead in the NFSC recipe would you use a different amount?

Self rising flour has levening. it will cause the cookies to puff, and possibly spread. If that doesn't matter, then it should be OK
