I am going to a cookie exchange this week and decided to do Spritz--easy and fast. I have done them before and usually dust them with some colored sugars--nothing real special. BUT I'd like to maybe spruse them up a bit. I was thinking of maybe drizzling candymelts or choc or bark on them. Probably do a combo of trees, flowers and wreathes.

Any other suggestions?

I have also decorated these types of cookies with the colored sugars. I addition to that, I have also colored my dough (ie green for Christmas trees, etc) as well as dipping the bottom of the cookie or half of the cookie in white or dark chocolate.

I dip the tops in white or light or dark chocolate. I usually do stars and trees this way.

I have a picture of some trees in my photo gallery.
