HOW DO I FIGURE OUT HOW MANY SLICES TO GET OUT OF EACH SIZE CAKE PAN? I AM TRYING TO CHARGE PER SLICE BUT I DONT KNOW HOW MANY SLICES EACH PAN MAKE.

A quick rule-of-thumb to use is about 3.5 servings per cup of batter. Figure out how many cups of batter the pan will take, and multiply by 3.5 for the servings. If you want smaller servings for weddings, multiply by 4. If you want more generous party sizes, multiply by 3. Ask the client what they prefer. (I have a brother-in-law whose family divides a 9" pie into 4 pieces! They'd like their cake slices to be on the bigside, too!)
