I have posted the pictures of the chocolate ornaments in my photos.
I am I sure that the people I'm giving them to as gifts are going to love them.
Thanks to everyone for all the ideas and tips.
Now on to another puzzle.
They are gorgeous. I would love to get those. Better yet would love to know how to make them.......Awesome Job.
Just stunning! I don't know how anyone could possibly eat it. I'd probably hang it on my tree! Great job!
These are INCREDIBLE! I would LOVE to know how you did them! My cousin and I make 275 lbs of candy each year to give away. What a neat "package" to put my truffles in! Again, FABULOUS!

Absolutely stunning! You did a fantastic job! How did you do "the pattern"? It came out perfectly.
Thank you everyone, they were fun to make as well.
There were mant threads about these ornament, one of which I posted. I am attaching the link of the post that has the instruction done by another cc member complete with photos.

In that link is a link to my post as well.
It will tell you how to make the shells and how to fill them.
If you should have any other questions, please let me know and I will try to help.
Thank you again.

How in the heck did you do that? They are so round and smooth and despite it being royal icing, how did you transfer them to the box without damaging them? Holy smokes!

berryblondeboys,
Thank you, but it was not that bad.
You do have to decorate your ornaments in stages in order to let the royal dry. Once they have, you can handle them without worrying to much, but you still have to keep in mind that it is Chocolate and the heat from your hands will make them melt, (trust me, found that out after I put my fingers through about 3 of them).
Check out the the other thread for more details as to how they are so round.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

How do you get the royal to stick to the chocolate?
I had trouble getting royal to stick to the rolled buttercream toppers for my cupcake ornaments! What am I doing wrong?
Well, they started as gifts and ended up being sold. I have been recieving orders like crazy for these things.
I am charging $5.00 per ornament and I still don't think I charged enough. Probably could have charged $8-$10, with no problem. And now that I have to make some for profit and learned the process, they should cost that much or more.
I had someone say to me, how much, $100.00 for 4 that's not bad , and I am only charging $5.00. I looked at him like he was nuts. And asked him would he pay that much, he said in a minute (and it was a guy, go figure. No offense to the guys on CC, but many of them who are not involved with this kind of stuff don't usually understand the work involved).
I guess it is a learning process. And pricing always drives me crazy.

Holy Cow!!!!!!!!
Those are incredible
Is there any way you could post a step by step tutorial?
They are absolutely amazing and I think you are charging way too little - should be at least $8.00.
