i really need to know, is browning the same thing as treacle and molases. if a recipe calls for browning what qty am i expected to use. below are the ingredients im suppose to use:

500g butter
300g sugar
600g flour
6 eggs
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp cinnamon
fruits(as desired)
browning
2 tsp vanilla extract
