Does anyone have the orginal Crisco chocolate chip cookie recipe? Not the one that on their website or on their packages. The recipe thats on their website & packages doesnt taste and doesnt come out the way the old recipe did. I had the orginal recipe for a long time but, I must of misplaced it (my loss)!!! If anyone has it I would greatly appreciate it. My orginal recipe was off the container about 15 years ago. Thank you in advance.

I used to have it, don't know if I still do or not as it's been years since I've made it. However, since Crisco has changed their shortening it stands to reason that this will affect how the cookies turn out. Just something to be aware of.

Try googling your subject line. I bet you come up with the recipe.

This is the only recipe I could find. It came from my fav. brand name recipe cookbook.

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup all-vegetable crisco shortening
2 TBSP.milk
1 TBSP. Vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp.baking soda
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

If you omit the pecans then add another 1/2 cup chocolate chips to recipe.

Heat oven to 375 (I preheat at 350 personally)

Place brown sugar, crisco shortening, milk and vanilla in LG. bowl and beat on med. speed till well blended. Add egg beat well.
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda.Add to shortening mix. Beat at low speed till blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.

Drop by rounded TBSP. full 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 min. for crisp cookies.
