i ditto that!

I have dogs & a 2 yr old boy. The health department just asks that the "animals" not be in the kitchen while baking.

Oh sorry I wasn't calling my son an animal, lol. Well maybe sometimes... icon_lol.gif

geez way to discourage a cake central friend guys!!! I think you made a beautiful cake(s) and you did fantastic under pressure Lauren. I would have thrown in the towel and started crying. I have a dog, three cats and two kids and maybe my house isn't the cleanest on the block, but my kitchen certainly is. Just because a dog is in the house, it doesn't mean we all live like pigs. I think it's perfectly acceptable to have animals indoors while you cook as long as you're sanitary but accidents do happen, that's why there's a disaster forum!!! Clearly the cakes were seperated, if they were stacked I could sort of see why everyone is in an uproar but they're all seperated. Maybe I'm being too harsh on everyone that is against animals but poor lauren came on here looking for some encouragement and the bulk of the feedback was really negative.
