I was thinking about making a witch with her cauldren for Halloween but I've given alot of thought about her being black. There was some discussion on here about what black does to you (black teeth, lips and funky looking you-know-what etc.) and so I got to thinking that maybe instead of making her black, I would go with the creepy green and purple theme. Ok, my question is, how do I make that creepy green colour? I couldn't find any Halloweenish green icing colours at Michaels (really it's the only store that sells stuff around here for cakes) and the only purple is the violet one...I would have thought they would have sold the Halloween greens and purples icing colours but I couldn't find any. I don't have time to order online since Halloween is at the end of the month. I bought a 'kelly green' icing colour and will have to probably mix the purple with another colour to get the colours I need. Any ideas as to how to get these colours?
TIA
To get the creepy green for my cookies, I used (Wilton) Kelly green and a bit of lemon yellow. It did well for my witch's face! And I used just the violet to get a good purple colour.

ditto on the green & yellow
Wilton has their spooky green chocolate melts out now - perfect color.
Yeah, I saw the candy melts, but what I found instead was some glitter gel. It's a bit too green for the halloween green, but I thought it would go alright in the 'cauldren' for her witches brew.
