Personally...I LOVE it. The colors are great. I like the font and the logo isn't too cartoonie. Looks great! thumbs_up.gif

I love it. I'm a fan of simple is better. It will be good for on smaller items, like business cards and stickers, because the detail won't get distorted when made small.

I do like it but it might be a little too simple. I think a easy quick thing you could do to it would be to move the lettering more over top of the cake. Other than that, the cake is nice and I like your letter style.

I like it.

I happen to like the lettering slightly off center, its "not normal" in a good way.

I also agree thats its simple enough to be stickers and such.

Its a keeper thumbs_up.gif

I think it is cute also. I would also center the wording over and under the cake and not to the side but it is fine if you choose to leave it like that as well.

I really like it for all the reason already stated. Makes your business seem cheerful and fun. I love the wording off center so it grabs your eye.

I really REALLY like it!!! Fun and simple yet elegant. I'm on the same boat as we speak, did you do it yourself or did you hire somedy? Who are you hosting with? Just curious... Sorry, so many questions...

I like it, too. The font choice is wonderful. The lines are simple enough to be easily recognized, but not stark.

I like the wording off center, but I too think you should move it in a little tighter to the cake. Still off center, but move the top word down so it touches the cake a bit and the bottom word up so it touches a bit, or goes thru the cake as well. It may just make it a little tighter. Plust while I like the cake being simple, moving the words closer even overlaping the cake a bit will keep the cake from looking too plain.

It will work well black and white which is important and reduce well - very nice.

Lol, I don't mind questions. The logo was designed by a friend of mine who is a Graphic Designer. If you are looking to hire someone I can give you his information, he is really talented. My website is being hosted through Eleven2. It's not a dummie friendly site. Again, my friend is also doing my website for me and he likes Eleven2.

Another option if you are looking for someone to design your logo and/or site you could send your information to a local or not-so-local Art Institute. The students look at the freelance job pretty frequently since it builds up their portfolio. They do a good job because they really want to make you happy plus they are more affordable.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Also, thank you everyone for the nice comments. I was pretty darn happy with it but I just figured I am a bit biased. icon_rolleyes.gificon_wink.gif Thanks a bunch for the input!

thumbs_up.gif I love your logo. As soon as it popped up in my window it caught my eye and held my attention. It made we want to look at your website. In fact I imediately scrolled to the bottom to see where I could get in! Good luck, and would you leave a post when you get the site opened up? I would love to look! Good luck.

I like the idea, but I do think it's lacking a little something... A thicker "ribbon" on the cake? Or perhaps a flower or two (in a bright pink just to make it/them stand out)?

The colors are good, and it's pretty... but it just doesn't "pop" enough for my tastes.

But that's just me.

I like your logo a lot also. It gives me the feeling of, "I can decorate this cake however you want it".
I would like to see what it would look like with the wording brought in just a little more towards the cake.
I too am anxious to see your website.

Great Logo, great color choices. My only issue is I think the lettering should be centered

At first, I thought hey, this is awesome, but maybe it's missing something, and then realized that it is supposed to be "simple." So I think it portrays exactly what you are trying to reflect! Your friend did a great job! I can't wait to see more of your site!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I like the colors. Will you only be doing cakes? I always worry when a cake is pictured and the person also does cookies and desserts, does it tell the full scope of your bakery.

I do like it though. Simple like the name

I think it is great. Love the off-center. Too many things are centered and lined up perfectly and I don't think look very creative. Yours is great!

I would leave as is. It's awesome. You want people to remember the name, not all the fancy embellishments on the cake. It's fantastic. Good luck.
