Tutorial On Sculpting A 3-D Dog?

I have seen the one that was posted a while ago, where you cut 2 round layers and then put them together like a puzzle and ice, but I was also wanting to see other ideas as well, where the do is convered in fondant.

Anyone has anything please?

Oh, I agree Maria!! I've seen some awesome dog cakes here and would love to know how some of them are done!! I've only covered a dog head in fondant and that was tricky enough for me! Hopefully, someone will share!!

How could you not love that little face!! He would be so cute translated into cake...do you think he'd hold still long enough for us to make a mold?? (Just kidding!!)

this si the tutorial I received from anoter CC member- I believe her name is Holly but I dont know her screen name- but it helped me a great deal.

my cliford was done following these instructions and then my raccoon also- the only dif. is I palced a styro ledge under its head to raise it up.

A good friends mom does animal rescue work and is particularily into raccoons - so he wanted a cake for her b-day- his moms name is ginger icon_smile.gif
It was a lot of fun -but yikers what a bunch of fur :O

icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif LMAO!! The only time he sits still is if I lay down in bed to go to sleep. He sleeps right beside me. DH hates he but learned to accept that we're a package deal thumbs_up.gif
