I came across these while i was browsing for some new goodies, and the tutorial makes it look pretty simple. just wondering if anyone here has used them, or have any pictures of their work with them...? Or know anywhere else to but them.... possibly less expensive icon_rolleyes.gif ?

Hello

I have used chocolate transfer sheets many times.
here is one that I made.

what do you think?

though it is not too difficult to do, it does take a bit of practic.
I would comment on the tutorial & prices, but neither was included in your post.

ciao for now

I also order mine from Beryl's. She has the best prices! I have a couple pictures in my photo gallery. It really isn't as hard as it seems. I practiced on cake dummies until I got the method.

That is so pretty and from the description of the cake, it sounds yummy!! How did you slice it (or did you remove the chocolate, but if you removed it then I would assume that the sides of the cake peeled off onto the chocolate)?

You don't take the chocolate wrap off...you just cut right through it! icon_biggrin.gif

ShirleyW posted a tutorial on this a while back - here's the link...

She's wonderful as has a ton of experience. I myself have never tried a chocolate wrap, but check out her tutorial - she makes it look easy!

Hello archanac

JodieF is correct. you do not remove the chocolate - it would be impossible to anyway. Slicing the cake willl cause the chocolate to crack - Using a warm knife helps.

If you want to try it, practice on a small cake; following the procedure at the link that Danielle111 listed. Shirley explains it quite well.

Feel free to ask questions.

ciao
