I often finish a cake take a photo, post it here. Then start looking at the photo and seeing all the flaws that I didnt' see before and then go back and fix them. Does anyone else do that or am I just nuts.? I can't always see the flaws until I look at the photo, dont' know why but that is what it takes sometimes.

I think that we are all that way,If we look at it as we would think other people see it (via pictures) then we see everything that we perceive is wrong with it. Ya know, I think it's like this, the more we look at the more we will find wrong with it even if no one ever ever .......ever sees what we see. Sometimes we can chalk those differences between idea and execution to artistic liscence and those little booboos are what make those cakes "ours".
And to jump off the topic just a wee bit here..... are ya'll going to the ICES day of sharing in Denver this February? I am sooo going woohoo. Set my vacation time to coincide with it n everything.

Yeah they have it called "Colorado's Premiere Sugar Arts Show". It's going to be part of the colorado garden show they have every year in february. I shot off an email to get some info on it. So as soon as I know more I will post it.
