i need help pricing a cake for my kids teacher she want a round 14x2 inch cake with a fbct picture of nemo and i dont how much to charge her please help thanks

You are going to find that prices vary. My Witon instructor told me to take the total cost of your materials and multiply that by 3. I live in a small town and would personally charge $81.25 for this type of cake, with a BC filling.

I would price by the serving for a buttercream cake. Again, as a previous poster said, you will find that pricing varies by region. I would price out bakery cakes (a few quick calls around your area) to get an idea of the going rate.

It can vary anywhere from $1.00 to $3.00 per serving, so you need to do some research and see what you feel comfortable pricing your cakes at.
