I am trying to get my website up, but I'm having a lot of trouble with the design part. I didn't like the site builder that came with my package so I'm tying to use Frontpage to design my site.

I'm trying to figure out how to display my photos like this site (or something like this): http://www.butterflycakes.com/cakes3.htm

Would this be a hover button?? How do I set up the thumbnails so that when you hover the mouse over them a large pic shows up on the same page?

Thanks!!
Courtney

Well the only way I know to do this would be considered stealing so I'd suggest emailing the web-master of that site and ask them if they could help you. I will say that not many people who have custom made websites (that set up is very rare I've never seen one like it before) may not be willing to share info on how to create it because it is custom and rare...

I can say that it is a basic table script and it is a hover over code but the coding is very strict and must be followed exactly to achieve that.... So again I'd say email the webmaster/owner and ask them if they could help you... icon_smile.gif

...Or is there an easy way to display cake pics on a website? I want to have thumbnails that link to the larger photo in the easiest way for a customer to use.

You're right, it can't hurt to ask! I'll e mail them and see if they can help. I'm sure I'll figure something out. I was hoping to have it done by Saturday b/c I already have my website printed on cards that I was hoping to give out with a big cake order this weekend. icon_smile.gif

Hi icon_smile.gif If you are using Internet Explorer, you can go up and click on 'View' in the Menu bar, then 'Source' and it will show you the source code the website

My guess is they used Javascript with the MouseOver function. icon_smile.gif

On my website I have the pics as a thumbnail and when you click on them it opens a new window with the full sized picture it's very easy to do that. As for the above message that's what I was talking about earlier and have been told it's considered stealing if taken without permission. icon_smile.gif

Yeah freewebs is a great place icon_smile.gif I made mine there but chose to do it all myself instead of using one of thier templates.
