I had to buy a container of buttermilk for a recipe and only had to use a cup so does anyone have any recipes so I can use the rest up because I hate to waste.

you can freeze it in a ziploc bag until you need it in a recipe again too!

I should probably freeze it in one cup portions? I am assuming that if I thaw it when I need it again I can't refreeze it.

yes, that's what i do...1 cup portions. A home recipe rarely calls for much more than that.

No...don't freeze/thaw and then freeze/thaw again. Not worth risk of sickness for what, like $2.00?!
