Sounds like you are going to be a slave driver....hope Nancy can keep up with all the jobs you have for her. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif She'll have to recruit Melvira to help her.

twinkle ( Wow--New Zealand!!) First, thank you! And yes! You're right--Daniel Craig was a very hot Bond. But I never want to see him sit on a seatless chair again!!!!!!

freddy---You stop that pouting right now, young lady! Go make something great for the "Home" thread! We're waiting! ( I'm waiting for myself, as well!)

jules06! ( Your avatar/daughter is a real cutie-pie!!!)
Sorry, I meant to get back to you earlier. Thank you for your nice comments.
Most of my cookies are your standard cookie cutter size, but these custom ones are big. This Melvira one is 6 X 7 inches. The ones I've done for the TOTM thread here are all around that big size. And, I think you asked earlier about how long it takes me to do one of these? It's a few hours--apx. 2 to 3.
But that does not include time for the several sketches and designing. I play around with those on and off for a few days to get it right. These kind of difficult cookies make me want to get right back to an order of simple duckies or flowers!!
Oh, and I lovelovelove Viggo!!!!! Did you see him in "A History of Violence"?
Whoa!!!!!!!!!!

Cookie agents get 25%?! Woo hooo! You know I keep saying you need to raise your prices!

Tonight was busy, busy, busy! I did your contract for that series of books you're illustrating with cookies... Two Girls in the Window ~ the story of the good/evil twins Freddy and Melvira. Barbra Walters was looking for free samples and I told her, "Hey Babs, get in line!" Oh! I almost forgot ~ the White House called about you decorating the National Christmas Tree. I told George we'll talk after I see his promise IN WRITING that you'll be named United Nations Goodwill Ambassador of Cookies.

First off the cake and cookie are great!! Both you ladies impress the heck out of me. Secondly Melvira thanks for starting this thread gone whacky. It's just what I need to sit and read this morning after dealing with my mother for the last 2 days.

Okay I'm thinkin Anthony Michael Hall, the name sounds familiar.... Then it's like "oh geez, he IS the geek off Sixteen candles!" Cute kid with his braces yes, but a hunk today? Now he HAS to be more than 35, my twins just turned 34 and we watched that movie forever after it came out on tape. I will always see him as part of the glass top coffee table.

As for REAL men I'm one of the older ones here, I guess, and a few of my favs have been mentioned already. I like Harrison starting way back with Solo..ahhh.... Ford, Kevin yank-ME-behind-a-tree-and-smooch-me-forever Costner, Patrick teach me to dirty dance Swayze, Sean getting better with age but get some denture tightener to lose the whistle Connery, Sam melt the rubber off my tires with your voice but don't lose the mustache Elliott and oldie but goodie handsome as all get out I had to throw him in even if it dates me Gregory Peck.

But my all time favorite icing on my cake follow him anywhere guy is Tom Selleck, from his darned rugged sexy and aging soo dang nice good looks, roll down my socks smile, makes me want to pinch all his cheeks laugh, to his not afraid to be goofy sense of humor. I still have his 1993 calender hanging above my workbench and I'm taking it to the office supply to have it laminated.

Ahhhhhhh, CarolAnn-----I see we've tapped into a well of not-so-pent-up feelings!!!! I love all your descriptions! That unforgettable scene of Kevin and Mary!!!!!!! I'm getting the vapors all over again!
And yes, Gregory Peck---super classy.
Tom Selleck----one big hunk of man! ( I loved him on those "Friends" episodes. I would have picked him over Chandler!)

Ohh CarolAnn...Gregory Peck, yes...I have always love this gent. One of the best movies ever made is "To Kill A Mockingbird" with Mr. Peck. Connery's whistle, I live with it icon_smile.gif and he is like a aging fine wine . I agree Tom is so darned rugged sexy and aging isn't hurting him at all.

Nancy & Melvira should do a cookie & cake combo of all these HOT men. You know the more I look at the cake you ladies did, it makes me think of Hollywood and movie stars.

What magic comes from that wand on that cookie, that casts a spell to get all of us talking about...hot,sexy,rugged gents. CarolAnn, thats why this thread has gone whacky...Nancy & Mel's cookie & cake has cast a spell on all of us icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
Have a wonderful day of day dreaming ladies.
God Bless,
Sharon

I agree... what if these 2 TALENTS put their ideas together and come up with a cake/cookie sculpture along the lines of "Hollywood Hall of Hunks" -- ya know, like Mt. Rushmore's presidents!

icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

We here at CC can take the TOP 5 Most Popular and these gals can take and make a cake sculpture -- albeit embellishing in the anatomy area of wherever we see fit and befitting of such Hollywood Hunks.

Okay, to whomever posted here about Borat the hottie I have to say............
"WHAT can you be thinking???" I watched his movie the other night with a friend and it was soooo offensive it's almost beyond words for me. YUCK!!!! Unfortunately, for me, I now know what someone else meant about the "long stretchy thong thing" too. OMG!!! I love good comedy, and I even love some pretty stupid stuff sometimes, but this was just stupid and foul.

Well I had to get this off my chest. I think I'll watch Quigley tonight just to make up for the other.
