Okay...
A friend of mine was cleaning out her grandmas attic and came across this bag of cookie cutters, she said she had no room for them and felt they needed a good home so she asked if I would like to have them... and as any cake slash cookie junkie would I said of course, well as I am digging through my bag of goodies I came across this one, and I know I'm probably going to feel really stupid if its something simple and I'm looking at it wrong, I thought maybe it might have been an angel that may have been bent... but then I thought a trophey?? I don't know... So please help me name my cookie cutter detective.gif

In that angle it looks like a trophy to me if you flip it upside down it looks like a strapless dress.

Anyone else??????

Funny! I have the same problem with some I got on eBay!
My SIL told me one was a stocking! It was! I could see it as soon as she said it. THere is one I've yet to be sure of....it has been named the puzzle piece....because it kind of looks like a puzzle piece, and it is a puzzling piece! If it is a puzzle piece, it is a dumb-looking one! icon_razz.gif

If I can't get the pic on here, I will post it into my gallery pics, too!
Thanks!
LL

and I have another one. I think it is a sheep? or some kind of animal. If you look at it with the two "legs" on the bottom....but if you turn it up with the two "legs" facing the right...it kind of looks like a ghost.
ANY HELP ON THIS ONE WOULD BE AWESOME!

It looks like it could even be made into a hot air balloon - a little skinny on top.

Oh, the original mystery cutter (and I looked at it in the gallerie)...looks like an upside down dress, like all have said, but I don't see the hot air balloon as well. I think a hot air balloon would be more "poofie" on top! I think it could pass for trophy.
I would also pass for hot air balloon, though.
how you decorate the cookie could be the difference, though!

I was gonna say a piano, but it has that little extra bump at the back there. Hmm...

Ok, the one that is here with two different angles (someone said sheep, maybe?) reminds me of the Buffalo Bills logo or maybe a buffalo wing logo - a buffalo (looking toward the left in the top picture) with wings pointing up and away from it's head?

ButtercreamCakeArtist, the sheep/ghost one looks like a grand-piano to me! Not sure about the other "puzzle piece" cutter though... I'll keep thinking!

baker -

I don't know what it's supposed to be, but I think it would be super cute decorated as the top of a carrot and then it's fronds/leaves. Then "plant" 'em all in a pot of "dirt" - very cute spring/Easter cookie bouquet!

I was thinking Buffalo also. The puzzle piece reminds me of a scroll, if turned around.

Puzzle piece one could be a sled with metal runners?

I am going to say the "sheep" one is a grand piano with the lid open too.

Funny how one persons sheep is another persons piano LOL

Baker2699:
Here is a link to the Foose Cookie Cutter called the hot air balloon. It looks a lot like the one posted in your photos, but maybe yours got bent! http://www.foosecookiecutters.com/store/media/B1178HotAirBalloon4inch.JPG

I think the "sheep" piece looks like a piano with the lid up, but there is an extra bump. Could it be a state???

Sheep looks like a grand piano to me.

Puzzle Piece looks like a cement/masonry block.

Buttercreamcakeartist

The puzzle looks like two hot dogs or two rolling pins side by side.

The other one looks alike a grand piano to me as well.

thanks for all the "guesses" lol
I think this has been fun, we should have a guess the cookie cutter more often to see how other people perceive them, and what else we could turn them into lol icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

First one looks like a grand piano with the lid up

the second looks like a buffolo with wings or state hummm not even

related to one another.

I'm not good with states so I cant tell you what state it may look like I

sway more to the buffalo with wings.

the first one i'm still not sure, i think it looks like a strapless dress if turned upside down like someone else said (sorry can't remember their name)
i did a search for the second picture because the first thing that came to my mind was a grand piano but as someone else said, there was an extra bump in the back so i did a picture search for piano cookie cutter and that's exactly what came up, it is a grand piano cookie cutter lol

Before I read all these responses, my first thought for the sheep one was an open grand piano. I guess great minds think alike! icon_smile.gif

As for the other, I haven't a clue, but it's been fun reading everyone's guesses!
