I have seen posts about wedding cake contracts and the thought of having them had never occured to me, I'm really no good at the money part of decorating cakes. Anyway, what do you usually include in the contracts? Any comments would be very much appreciated, thanks!

I give a detailed description of the cake they ordered, and include the specifics of date, delivery, payment, deposits and such. I include the exact date the final payment is due and what will happen if I don't get it.

I include language about my equipment deposit: how much, what I need back and when.

I specifically state "no refunds" and state my cancellation policy.

Then I state that the client agrees to the above by signing.
