what else do you need? I'm thankful for growing up with a huge family...many many cousins. We are all still rather close and holiday time is great!

I'm thankful for God, my family, my health, my job (whether I like it or not, I'm thankful to have it), my home, and I am very thankful that my boyfriend made it home safe from his 2nd tour in Iraq last week! icon_biggrin.gifusaribbon.gif

You guys have already hit the important stuff, but I'd like to add that I am thankful for CC, as you guys are a constant source of inspiration, support, and yes, sometimes anger! Haha! (We all hate THOSE threads!) But you all keep my smiling, and inspire me to do some of my best work. And honestly, this is the first place I am racing to show a cake because I value all the input I get!! Happy T-Day CC!!!

It's been a rough year for me so it's hard to say, but I am thankful for my husband, my home, my wonderful pug, and last night my husband and I found out we're expecting! So I'm thankful God chose me to have a such a wonderful blessing, I can't imagine anything better than the blessing of a wonderful family! I've only been married 9 months though, so this came as a bit of a surprise. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I can't tell if it was you or your husband that was in Germany and Iraq, but I'm assuming it was for military service. So....I want to thank you for that. It's not easy being the one gone or the one waiting at home, so thanks to you both and to everyone else that makes those sacrifices! usaribbon.gif

I am thankful for my life. For as long as I can remember, every single day has presented something to be grateful for. It may have been realized later(like being detained at work another 20 minutes and going by a wreck on the way home that happened 20 minutes earlier). Hitting a deer and having two very eager young boys run out of the woods to ask if they could have it and exclaim how happy mama was gonna be that they got meat...no lie...

I am truly thankful that I am able to see what goodness has been bestowed upon me!

a husband who loves me and shows it

I'm thankful that this year I found cake decorating. The past two years had been very difficult. I had been diagnosed with an emotional illness that really makes my life difficult. Than we lost our health insurance and I was unable to go to therapy anymore. Since I found cake decorating I have had far less problems with my disorder and my husband has even gone so far to say that cake decorating has been the best therapy I've ever had.

As always, I'm extremely thankful for my husband. Most people with my disorder can't last in a marriage, but I've got a wonderful husband and a very stable marriage. This is partially due to my faith, which I'm EXTREMELY grateful for. Lastly, I"m grateful that God led my family to Chattanooga, TN - it is quite frankly the best place I've ever lived.

clever_cakes311-

Congratulations! Like justfrosting I too was a Mom by our first anniversary (my honeymoon baby)! But as I sit here mixing up a pie crust I feel so blessed to hear my daughter giggling as my husband is singing to her. I am so thankful to have my Navy man home!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm thankful for my faith, children, husband, home. I'm also thankful for my mother, mother-in-law, father-in-law & all our extended family - I pray that they all have good health.

Thanks to all our service men/women & their families.

I'm thankful for my wonderful family. All my friends at CC, and for the most part we are all healthy. I thank God every day for the gift of blessing people with food. Thanksgiving is always a little sad for me. My mom died on Thanksgiving 2 years ago and I still miss her terribly. Even though she lives about 2 miles away, I did not get to see her because my daughter and I had some contagious thing she brought home from school and I still hate not getting to see her on her last day on Earth. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I must be emotional today b'c ya'll have me almost in tears. clever cakes congratulations. I ofcourse don't know you faith but I truely believe children are a blessing from the Lord. He made them so cute so that when you want to flush them down the toilet they do something irresistable that prevents you from doing it! Not that I've ever been tempted icon_redface.gif

I am so thankful for my 2 beautiful kids and my husband who has such a kind and servant heart. I am thankful for finding a group of women who don't have it all together in my Bible Study. I know that sounds strange, but there are very few people who I feel that I can be real with and let them see me and my house at it's worst. These women are honest about their shortcomings and it has been a blessing to me icon_rolleyes.gif .

I am also thankful that I have started trying to be creative with CC's help! I've never attempted anything creative before and this has been a great outlet!

I am thankful to the powers that be (GOD,ALLAH,BUDDAH,JESUS,JEHHOVA,THE GODDESS,THE FORCE,whomever you belive) for everything, good, bad and in between. Other than my family and health the thing I appreciate the most is having a sense of humor and the ability to laugh cause Lord knows it makes it easier to get through all the rough stuff. So be happy and laugh a lot everyone. norma

for being a SAHM, for my family, especially my wonderful dh. We agreed that we'd stay home today instead of visiting our extended family. We used to visit both sides of the family and holidays seemed so rushed. So we are having a WONDERFUL non stressful day. We'll also start some traditions with our kids today that are improtant to us. Right now, we're watching the Parade with our three kids 4, 3 & 1. We will visit with family and have leftovers this weekend. Here's to many more relaxing holidays. Like many of you, I'm new to decorating and this site has exceeded my wildest dreams. I've learned so much and look forward to developing this skill.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
