I want to make some very small fondant flowers but I'm unsure as to how far in advance I should make them. I have a tiny flower cutter and thought about making them and then putting them right on the cake at the time of decorating the cake. But, should they 'dry' alittle before putting on the cake? Also, is there a big difference in drying time between MMF and Wiltons fondant? I know the MMF does taste better, but I don't plan on using that much on the cake itself.

TIA

It would be fine to put the flowers right on the cake after you cut them out. I dont know about drying time...I've never used Wiltons
