I made 300 of these truffles for my SIL's wedding this weekend. Each has a fondant leaf. What a pain, doing chocolates in this quantity takes too much time. I love them though, they turned out just as I pictured. The picture shows 140 of them. I couldn't find a folder to put these in but I am so proud of them I had to show you all. Thanks for looking!
BTW - this board is great, I have already learned so much and am totally addicted!
They are beautiful! You did a great job on them....did you use a mold? I know they take time, I do candies as well....and they are time consuming! Great job!!!
I agree, they look perfect! How'd you do the squares if you don't mind me asking. Was it a mold? Please... share your tips!
great job!
They look perfect - just like the ones you see in a gourmet shop. I think everyone will love them.
They are molded, that's what took so long. It took about 12 hours total. I know she will appreciate them, that is why I don't mind doing them. And not to sound conceited, I like to show off my work, until someday when I can open a business.
They are a dark chocolate shell with an amaretto truffle filling.
I made 100 of them same thing (raspberry and orange filling with orange and pink flowers) for her bridal shower, that's when she asked for them for the wedding.
Thanks for all the great comments!!
