the weekend before thanksgiving is usually slow as can be....tumbleweeds and crickets chirping....

when i opened this week i only had 2 orders for saturday....

so i decided i was gonna take everything.....

someone called with an emergancy wedding cake on sat...OK!

a few more orders...i just kept answering the the phone and not paying that much attention as i baked.

i looked over at the order clip for saturday and thought..."i better check that...it blooks pretty thick"...

oh boy...who knew?

25 orders...
a wedding cake...
a full sheet...
2 small whimsey cakes...
a carved dinosaur....

i used up all my cake and had to bake again...i got 75% of them iced.

its gonna be one of "those" days tomorrow (i'm a 1 man show).

Wow, I would enlist the help of a friend or two. If not possible, Make some strong coffee!

I see very little to NO sleep in your future! Call a friend, a neighbor, a distant relative or anyone you can get to help!

You poor thing! If I was there I'd help you! I was "in the weeds" today while doing a wedding and groom's cake. Just as I was about to totally freak out, a young lady that lives away walked in. She had come to see her brother and she's helped me in the past. WOW! She jumped in and decorated the wedding cake while I did the groom's cake!

CALL A FRIEND!!! Let us know how it goes....if you have the strength to type! LOL

i didn't get to sit down (except to pee hee hee)...for 12 hours.

li wish i had one of those fancy tubs with the massaging jets!

GOOD JOB! Now, kick back, watch a good movie and drink some hot herbal tea (chamomile)! OR use all the "big money" you made and PAY for a full body, hot rock massage! Glad you lived....it would be sad if the obit had read "died of "icing inhalation""LOL
