Hello,

I going to open my shop in europ and need some idea and help !!!! about decoration and what sort of material do you have please?

I make cakes but with home material so i have a question ! how many cake do you make in your pastry in 1 day approximatively??? i affraid to open a shop and make just a little quantity of cake!

Well first of all if it were I opening a shop...I would make sure I did all the research as to what I am getting in too.Visit other bakeries to see what they offer and prices.Find suppliers who can supply your ingredients.Do a breakdown to see if it is cheaper or more expensive to bake scratch versus ready made bulk mixes ,breads etc...

Thank you for your answer, but i can't have this answer about other pastry because they don't sell this cake in my country. So just you in this forum can help me . now it's ok about the material, but i just want to know, how many cake can you make in a day with professionnal material??

Well I would like to think a dozen or so fully decorated cakes...I am guessing because I don't know your shop size,amount of ovens,equipment,exactly what you are going to sell....Sorry! I'm tryin to help!!

I am going to buy a oven with 6 level and a mixeur or i don't remerber the name in english 20 litre.

doudoun - as someone who hopes to eventually open a shop in Europe too, I say that we will need to provide unusual everyday treats to our customers, as well as doing the special celebration cakes. For me, that would be providing a fresh daily supply of American & British style cupcakes, cookies and large cakes that would be sold by the slice. This will be your 'bread & butter' income and the celebration cakes will be your added bonus. You will need to invest long, long hours to provide that though (starting with very early mornings), unless you plan to hire in some help!
