Before investing in culinary school, I would suggest getting a job in the field to see if you like it enough to go into debt! Try a catering company or a country club, as they may offer more creative opportunities then a grocery store or bakery. If they are hesitant about hiring someone with limited experience, offer to work as an intern for little or no money for a month or two, just to get your foot in the door. Our local community college offers a variety of decorating classes...you could check into that as well. Good luck!

The bakery where I live let me intern on the weekends and I learned everything I know from them!! Good luck!! I also took all the wilton classes but learned so much more from interning!!!
