I see so many CCer's in their post metion cake extenders.....what are they please. I know what extend means I just need to know what is used and when.. Thanks

A cake mix extender means you add additional ingredients to a box mix. These extenders give the cake a better flavor and texture. Hope my response helps.

If you search the "Cake Mix Cakes" section under "Recipes" you will find extender recipes. The extender recipes help jazz up a box cake mix as well as give you more batter. Hope this helps!

I love the cake mix extender recipie from this site it makes a cake mix so moist and firm, makes it MUCH easier to work with and you can change the flavor by using different yogurts. Easy and Yummy!!!!!
