I'm making a 9" round stacked cake for a party at DH's workplace.
I found a black and white Turkey drawing that I can copy and fill in the white space w/ colours but what colours should I use though? I plan on doing a FBCT using the turkey drawing.
I thought about doing the sides of the cake in basketweave
(no smoothing for me heehee!) just not sure what colours...Suggestions anyone?

How about shades of brown for the turkey. The basket weave can be in a different shade of brown also. The turkey feathers could be different colors also. HTH

I think if you did the turkey in brown and the feathers colorful, that would be nice. Fall colors like red, deep orange, golden yellow, ones like that. Of course, that's going off of the fact that I don't know what your pic looks like. I guess I'm just picturing one that you can do this to. HTH!

For a fall cake with a Turkey I would go for gold, yellow, browns, oranges burgandy,or red. This I think are the most common colors.
