Help With This Cake

Would you make buttercream or gumpaste? How would you attach these flowers to the cake?

I would say gumpaste.

I would definately use gumpaste or fondant. I tried something similar with buttercream flowers and it was a pain. plus the fondant or gumpaste would look cleaner, I think.

I would make the flowers from gumpaste.

You could attach the flowers to the cake with royal icing.

i would just use royal to make the flowers and to attach them. that way you can eat them, unlike gumpaste
