I was reading somewhere on here about using paint rollers and spackling blades to smooth cakes. Question....With the roller, do you need to put a paper towel or anything on the icing first to eliminate roller marks and with the spackler, how do you do the top w/o leaving marks in the icing?
thanks,
amy
