Beautiful cake, but better knowing the backstory--your cake was made with so much love the only thing that could happen was that it turned out GREAT! your story touched my heart and made me smile (especially with so many bridezillas out there!). Your groom cried when he saw the cake--PRICELESS! (somebody pass the tissues, I'm a mess!)

He's always been incredibly supportive. As a matter of fact, the first time he saw the listing of forums here, he said, "Why aren't there any forums dedicated to husbands/cake widowers who want to support their sweeties, or at least find out how to live with someone who's a cake decorator?"
Yeah... he really did! I told him to be careful, or he'd end up as a moderator for just such a group! LOLOL
Oh my gosh girl!!!! It's beautiful. Can't begin to figure out how you managed to make your own cake in addition to handling all the other normal chaos that goes along with planning a wedding! You did a fantastic job. WOW!!!!

We're very happy. Now if the world would just stop spinning and bills would stop coming in for just a bit, that would be nice.

Hmmm.... maybe I should get him to write a book about how to be a supportive, understanding, emotionally available hubby... It'd be a best-seller! We'd be rich in no time. 
My husband is supportive like that. He takes pictures of the cakes with his camera so he can show them off. But, he knows how much joy these cakes bring to me and he is just as proud of them too!
I wish you and your hubby a lifetime of happiness and with someone as supportive as he is - you won't have a problem!
