I just want to ask before I go through shrinking all the pics. (I'm really slow at the computer stuff, lol) Also I combined a few posts/tutorials from CC to make mine. I didn't want to post the pics if someone was going to get their feelings hurt, kwim? But if any one is interested, I'll put them here. Thanks!!!
I definitely am!!!!! My kids love the movie........maybe I'll have an excuse to make one someday soon!!! I would love to see pics!! If you go to www.shrinkpictures.com you can shrink your pics super fast and super easily with no trouble at all......go shrink em' and post em' I can't wait!!!
ok - so the first pic is just the back view of the dog after I added the BC. Sorry!!
And - now I see that I need to go in reverse order when adding the pics. I'll try to do better with the next set.
that is so adorable!!!!!!!! I can't imagine piecing cake together like that what an artist you are!! Oh and I'm so jealous you get to make cakes in a kitchen like that lol!!! All of my photos have crazy mess in the background LOL
Wow! Your cake/dog looks great! Thank you for posting the step-by-step pictures. I would love to try a 3-D cake, but haven't gotten my nerve up yet. Maybe now I will get brave and try . . . .
(And KHalstead--Love your avatar! Is that your baby?)
littlebits your cake is absolutely ADORABLE, and thank you so much for posting the tutorial, Great Job!!!
thanks everyone! This was the first time I have ever tried one of these. I wasn't sure about it the whole time I worked on it, but I think it came together in the end.
KHalstead - I do love my kitchen. Lots of room. But I find that I am always needing more table space. I just can't afford to buy any more just yet.
AND I adore your avatar!!!! We used to have a husky and he was the sweetest thing!
I'll try to post some more instructions if any one wants them. I forgot to take pics of the cakes before I crumb coated them though. I had crumb coated it before I even thought to take the pictures.
It is wonderful littlebits, how about submitting it as a tutorial, I would love that, as it is easy to print from there.

What a great job! I think it would make a GREAT tutorial - pleeeze? ::puppy dog eyes::
wow - thanks for the kind comments every one. I am honored that some of you think it is good enough for a tutorial. But I have no idea how one submits an idea for a tutorial. Do any of you know?
I'm just so glad I could share something with all of the talented folks here at CC.
I've been dying to try one of those dog cakes I keep seeing people post, but I had no idea as to how to even start one.
Thank you so much for posting your directions!
If don't exactly know how to submit a tutorial, but if you PM Jackie or Heath they will help you. I look forward to it.

yeah, she's a bad little girl but we love her.......still in the puppy habits of shredding any piece of paper she finds LOL
KHalstead--She looks like quite a sweetie to me! (We lost our 13 year old Husky to old age about a year and a half ago, and of course miss him a lot. Even when he was naughty, he was a sweetie. I enjoy seeing your avatar, though, and look forward to getting another Husky some day.)
