Does anyone have any ideas for an empty nest themed party? A group of moms are throwing themselves a party, because they just sent thier children to college. I need help?
I don't know if you have ever seen spun sugar, kind of like cotton candy, but home made. You could do small ones and shape them into nests or those caramel cages upside down would look like a nest but i dont know if these would be sturdy enough to not break. I wish i could show you a pic but my camera isn't working. If you want more info on how to make these just let me know.
Just thinking about all those commercials where the kid goes off to school and the parents are already converting the bedroom into a spa room so they can't even wave goodbye to the kid!
What about a before and after - a slobby teenage bedroom and then beside it the newly renovated bedroom or in the constuction state.
Or just one messy teen room with some (yellow caution) construction tape over the door.
Blue prints labelling the kid's stuff (bed, video games, cd's) and then have them crossed out and replaced with hot tub...big screen tv, surround sound, craft room, etc
Just a couple ideas.
