I made a whimsical cake with a fairytale theme for an evening of entertainment for kids. I took my pictures this morning and it looked really good to me. I was actally proud of it. Then i posted them ( 4 pictures all together) to make a long story short the cake didn't look so great anymore. But tonight the kids and parents loved it and it tasted really good. I don't know how to downsize please check it out if you like.
The fondant has wrinkels and you can see the icing a lot. Thanks everybody

It looks great to me! I would still be proud of this cake if I was you. A lot of work went into it and if the only flaw is a bit of a wrinkle in the icing don't worry! Especially if everyone that saw it loved it. I think we are all too hard on ourselves sometimes!

I think you did a wonderful job. I didn't see anything wrong at all......Your fondant figures are great.

It's a fantastic cake! When I'm worried about a little wrinkle or a bulge, I just try to strategically place my figure to cover them, or I use a bigger border. I think I only noticed yours because you pointed it out! It's a really cool cake!

I didn't really notice anything wrong with it! But as long as your clients liked it then I wouldn't worry about it!

I think it is really cute - you really worked all the pieces of the stories together well. Your fondant looked fine to me - remember no one is a cake expert there to pick it apart. We are always our own worst critic!
