Hi,
Does anyone by chance know how Giant makes their tea or shortbread cookies? They have a chocolate shell shape of icing on top of them. I love these cookies but they want like $8.00 for a pound of them. Does anyone have a recipe for them? I'm really not sure if they are tea or shortbread cookies.

I haven't been to Giant but they sound like "Madeleine"cookies. at least from the shape. These are a classic shell shapes cookies and are made in Madeleine pans.
There are tons of recipes on line.cYou could use a shortbread recipe too. I haven't made any so I don't know how different they are.
Hope this helps
