Well, I finally made another cake and posted it! Yesterday was my little brother's 60th birthday and I couldn't let that occasion go by without a cake! He loves his l967 Mustang, so I used the Wilton racecar pan and adapted it to look as much like his car as I could. He says it is "awsome" and is sending photos to all his car-collecting friends! Major points for big sister!
The cake is the chocolate explosion from here at CC, first time I've tried it, and it is really good! Janice
I'm sure that earned you big points with your brother! Cake looks great and I like that you included the "Texas" shape on the windshield!!
GOOD JOB!
Can I ask you a silly question? I was looking at your other cakes and several of them have "Tic Toc" on them. I am assuming they are for multiple bithdays each month, but not sure what Tic Toc could mean. LOL Would you mind telling me so I won't feel so silly?
Thanks!
Leslie
Hi Leslie, not a silly question. I'd been making a monthly cake (I've had to miss a couple lately) for their anniversary/birthdays. Tic Toc is a marketing company, and my son is an artist there! A lot of the "toys" you get at fast food places are designed at Tic Toc.
If you want to check them out it is www.tictoc.com, and I just went there and they have changed the color of the logo!
MrsMissey. I'm glad you could recognize the Texas outline on the windshield, it was so small...but I couldn't get a mustang on the grill, so it just has an M.
I really had fun with this cake, and didn't have the anxiety with it that I've experienced with most of the others, maybe that was because I knew he would like it no matter what!
Thanks for looking at Stan's cake, and for your nice comments! Janice
Hi Janice!
Thank you for telling me what tictoc is!! Now I don't feel so silly.
Keep up the good work!
Leslie

...I thought I was a nice touch!
