Well.. since we are just starting out we have no idea.. LOL. We are planning on having some workshop type stuff.. like gumpaste flowers and different BC techniques.. working with fondant.. different recipes.. just to have others to talk shop with. icon_biggrin.gif

Make sure what ever resteraunt we go to they have more than booths -Th olive garden has tables that can be pushed together but not so for Applebees. I second the motion of 4 being to late. My DH does stuff around the house late in the afternoon on Sundays - ie garbage take out and stuff and I need to be around for the 3 and 1 year old - Child services frowns when we let our dog cassidy babysit - LOL.

HA!! Too funny Beth. I think meeting at 1-2:00 would be best with closer to 1 being better maybe?? ut 2:00 should give us all time to get there.. say hola.. have some food.. maybe a drink (but not too many as we're driving.. though I guess Meg could since we're car pooling icon_wink.gif ).. talk some shop.. and get home in time for our nightly rituals.

I know Outback has tables that can be pushed together and even some larger tables.. at least the one in Bedford does. Olive Garden does like Beth said.. The Applebees by me has more than just booths, but their food sucks.

Anyone else have any ideas before I do eenie meenie miney mo?? icon_wink.gif

Jeanne,

Could I catch a ride to - I think you have to pass right by exit 5 or 4 on 101 right? I could park at Hannafords or Ben Franklin.

Outback is yummy. Would anyone be intrested in a swap of some sort. I know every year my moms garden club does kind of a yanky swap as long as it relates to flowers. We could do something that is related to cake/ decrating. Keep it cheap, simple and fun?

Anyone up for that?

Beth

Of couse you can catch a ride with us Beth. I'll be going right by those exits so whatever you want to do it cool with me.

A little swap could be fun too.

Yankee Swap sound good! What should we have for a dollar limit? $5.00? $10.00? What is everyone bringing with them? Pictures?

I'd say a $5 yankee swap could be cool..

I might be able to print off some pictures to bring.. I think much beyond pictures might be too much for our initial meet and greet.

Did we decide on cake related or general yankee swap gifts? $5 is perfect.
