Sorry!!!!! I had a wee video showing how to cover a square cake but it was very stuttery and you would have fallen asleep before it eventually reached the end....so I've deleted it and will try and get it sorted out for the weekend. icon_cry.gif

I don't know why this should be! It's pretty bad. I'll leave it til the morning...wait...it nearly IS morning! icon_lol.gif I'll sleep on it and check when I arise and if it is still the same then it will be gone. I can't have my reputation in tatters with a dodgy video. icon_confused.gificon_lol.gif

okay dokay! I think enough's enough. I've still got the video in my files so I'll try this again over the weekend I think. The others play perfectly fine so there must be a reason for this one not! I'll take it off! icon_cry.gif

I couldn't get it to play at all - it was just a still. But I did watch your other video tutorials. They're great. Thanks for sharing your secrets with us (oh, and I must say how much I enjoyed listening to your calm melodious voice. I've always loved Scottish accents!) icon_wink.gif

Looking forward to the 'fixed' version of "How to cover a square cake in fondant/sugarpaste".

I'm looking forward to you posting it again. I got to the 3rd corner (1:52) thumbs_up.gif . I was just wishing today that I could find a tutorial for square fondant cakes since I have one due next month. Then when I saw your post I was like, "YES"! I watched your other tutorials the other day and enjoyed them very much. Thank you for taking the time to do this. thumbs_up.gif

Darn, I missed it! Hope you get the bugs ironed out. I dislike fondant corners very much. I can get BC corners sharp, but for some reason, fondant and I don't play well on the corners.

I am happy to wait. You are so sweet to take the trouble to do it. I don't have a problem with corners, but I always love to see how you do things Lorraine.

Just letting you know that I have started trying to download again...it takes a wee while! icon_confused.gif I'd be quicker jumping on a flight and showing you myself! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Hopefully at some point today it will be sorted out and will play better too. It's only short but helpful....sounds like me! ha ha ha icon_lol.gif

Wow ~ that was perfect! It went all the way through the video with no stalls at all. thumbs_up.gif

Thank you so much! I'm already feeling better about next month's cake. The corners had me worried but after watching your technique I believe it should be easy to do.

Do you buy your sugarpaste? Folks in my area are not crazy about it and I want to be sure I make/buy the best tasting product I can to hopefully give it a better name in this area. The kind you were using looks easy to work with.

Thank you so much Loraine thumbs_up.gif . You are very generous to do this icon_biggrin.gif .
